DSE Repeat Examination Timetable – December 2025
Repeat Examination – Dec 2025: Guidelines & Registration
A repeat exam will be held starting from 6th of December, 2025. The exam will be conducted on weekends. The schedule will be shared in due course.
- Those who have received a ‘Fail’ grade are advised to sit for papers for which they obtained less than a ‘C’ grade.
- All repeat students must pay a repeat examination fee of Rs. 3200.00 to the Collection Account No: 028100151586123 of the Wayamba University of Sri Lanka at any branch of the People’s Bank or online only. Do not use CDM.
- Use the following link to register for the exam. Those who have not registered in advance will not be allowed into the exam halls on the day. The deadline for registration is 15th of October, 2025 https://forms.gle/QiQiMoeGwgQenpWY6
- LMS access to the previous courses will be granted and you are advised to submit any missing assignments to your repeating subjects. If you are from DSE Intake 1 to 8 and you do not have access to DSE 9 courses, Please send an email to sa.cmis+dse@wyb.ac.lk with the subject: “DSE Repeat Examination – Dec 2025”, including your full name and index number.
- If you have repeated the DSE 244 – Computer Project I, you are advised to contact your supervisor immediately.

The Department of Computing and Information Systems of the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka offers the “Diploma in Software Engineering” to cater the needs of the office force and those who are willing to become as a professional in the field of Software Engineering. This course is designed to develop and enhance the IT and software development knowledge of the participants.
The aim of the course
The aim of the proposed program is to;
- Produce skilled software solution providers with sound theoretical and practical knowledge in Software Engineering theories and practices, with the emphasis on software design and development as well as project management.
- Develop professional qualities, transferable and subject specific skills and rightful attitude to pursue a career in Software Engineering.
