Previous Next Prof. K. P. Vidanapathirana and Prof. (Mrs) Kumudu Perera were awarded with National Science Foundation (NSF) Research Award -2018. This award was given to the NSF research grant titled “Conducting Polymer Based Energy Storage Devices”. Prof. K.P. Vidanapathirana was the Principal Investigator and Prof. (Mrs) Kumudu Perera was the co-investigator.

Previous Next Prof (Mrs) G.A.K.S. Perera and Prof. K.P. Vidanapathirana were awarded with commendation certificates for the research publication during the 2018 at the Wayamba University Research Awards Ceremony held on 11th July 2019 at the Kulyapitiya premises.

Mr. JHTB Jayamaha from Department of Physics, University of Jaffna carried out his final year undergraduate research project at Polymer Electronics Research Laboratory, Faculty of Applied Sciences under the supervision of Prof. K.P. Vidanapathirana and Prof. (Mrs) G.A.K.S. Perera. The project has won a national award as the Best Undergraduate Physics Research Project Award 2018

Prof. K.P. Vidanapathirana and Prof. (Mrs) G.A.K.S. Perera won a SUSRED award for the supervision of Dr. Y.M.C.D. Jayathilake who did his Ph.D. at Wayamba University of Sri Lanka.
