Prof. Jeevani Jayasinghe of the Department of Electronics, Faculty of Applied Sciences won the CVCD Excellence Award-2020 for the Most Outstanding Young Researcher in the fields of Technology/ Engineering/ Architecture/ QS / IT. The CVCD awards are the most prestigious and once-in-a-lifetime awards given to the most prolific academics in Sri Lanka. The awarding ceremony held on 2nd September, 2022, at the BMICH was graced by the Chairman/UGC, Chairman/NSF, Additional Secretary/MoE, and Vice-Chancellors.
