An inter-school quiz competition was organized by the Department of Industrial Management and the Association of Industrial Management Science Students (AIMSS) on 30th January 2020 at the Faculty of Applied Sciences on the theme of ‘Protection of Environment for Sustainable Development’. The event was conducted successfully with the participation of over 90 students from 30 schools in the Kurunegala district. The event was also laid the platform for the launch of the magazine ‘Zoom’ of AIMSS and held a guest lecture on sustainability development for the students and a workshop on sustainable teaching for the teachers who participated in line with the event conducted by Dr. W.A.S. Wijesinghe and Dr. I.P.M. Wickramasinghe respectively.
