Faculty of Applied Sciences opens submissions under the theme “Beyond Boundaries: Illuminating New Frontiers in Applied Research and Innovation”.

The Faculty of Applied Sciences, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka, has issued a call for papers for the 18th Applied Science, Business and Industrial Research Symposium (ASBIRES 2026).
The symposium will be held on 19 November 2026 under the theme “Beyond Boundaries: Illuminating New Frontiers in Applied Research and Innovation.”
Researchers, academics, graduates and undergraduates are invited to submit original full papers of 4–5 A4 pages. All submissions will be reviewed by a panel of local and international experts.
Symposium tracks include:
- Computing and Information Systems
- Industrial Management
- Mathematics and Mathematical Modelling
- Statistics
Key dates
- Full-paper submission: 31 August 2026
- Notification of acceptance: 8 October 2026
- Camera-ready submission: 31 October 2026
- Author registration: 5 November 2026
Registration is free for undergraduates of the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka.
