The IEEE Student Branch of Wayamba University of Sri Lanka held its Annual General Meeting at the Mini Auditorium, Faculty of Applied Sciences. This event marked the official transition of leadership to the new Executive Committee and Standing Committees of the IEEE Student Branch, IEEE WIE Student Branch Affinity Group, and IEEE Computer Society Student Branch Chapter of WUSL. The new members were formally introduced and appointed during the meeting, officially beginning their roles and responsibilities. During the meeting, past members presented their previous work and activities. This gave new members a clear idea of the achievements and efforts that helped build the branch’s strong foundation. The hard work and dedication of the past members were warmly appreciated, and it was a proud moment to see their achievements being recognized. Certificates were awarded to the winners of WayaXtreme, honoring their dedication and success in the competition. The event created a friendly and positive atmosphere where members could connect, share ideas, and look forward to the future. With the new leadership in place, there is hope for more activities, teamwork, and opportunities for all members.
